Will Aid is a unique partnership between the legal profession and nine of the UK’s leading charities. The scheme is simple but compelling. During November every other year instead of charging a fee for making a basic Will, you waive your costs and suggest instead that your client makes a donation to Will Aid – usually £40 for a codicil, £75 for a single Will, or £110 for mirror Wills.

The next campaign will be in November 2008

Since it was launched in 1988, Will Aid has raised nearly £6million in donations.

By taking part in Will Aid, you will raise money to change the lives of some of the world's poorest people and attract new clients to your practice. Will Aid is endorsed by the Probate Section of the Law Society who encourage their members to participate.

You can choose how many Will Aid wills you prepare during the month and, of course, if any instruction is more than just a basic Will, you can discuss a charge with your client.

Simply register as a Will Aid solicitor and we will give your details to anyone wishing to make a Will in your area. They will contact you directly to make an appointment so that you can take their instructions at your convenience.

In addition to the satisfaction of helping many children and families in need, Will Aid gives your firm an opportunity to raise your public profile and to gain positive PR by being associated with some of Britain's best-loved charities.
